Introduction

Hi, my name is Andrea' Aken and I am in my third class for my masters. I have a niece that is three years old and I babysit with her on Wednesdays. I love to sew quilts together when my time allows for me to do so. I am not married and have no children, but a Shitzu-bichon puppy at home. I live with my parents and am only doing the online class thing right now. I would like to finish my masters soon. I want to teach for Metro Community College, here in Omaha, when I am done.

I have two brothers and a mom and dad. I have a 79 year old grandma that is very close to me. I talk to her on a daily basis and we share information about our day. She lives in David City, which is about 65 miles away. I wish that I could spend more time with her since my grandpa passed away from prostate cancer about six years ago. My grandma is the only thing that I have left for grandparents.

I like to read, quilt, and write. I also like to cut up fabric and spend time with my parents and niece. I am not married, but someday I will find that special someone to share the rest of my life with.

I would also like to run my own daycare as I like little kids. I will maybe do both. I will teach as an adjunct at Metro online and run a daycare from home. This will provide me with the income that I need and also the companionship of the children.
